Can I tan at either location?
Yes! Your account is valid at all Hawaiian Tan locations
Am I able to share my tanning account?
No. Each client must have their own individual account to ensure accurate history and safety
Can I share my tanning package?
Yes! Point packages and single sessions can be shared with others
Please note: Unlimited tanning (memberships/passes) cannot be shared
Do I have to make an appointment?
- UV tanning: No appointment needed
- Spray tanning: Appointment required
Does my tanning expire?
Yes. Tanning service other than unlimited will expire 2 years from the purchase date
How old do I have to be to tan?
Minnesota law requires clients to be 18 years or older for UV tanning
Can someone under 18 tan with a parent present?
No. State law does not allow anyone under 18 to use UV tanning services
Is spray tanning done in a booth or by a person?
We offer custom spray tans performed by trained technicians
Why is there extra tax on tanning?
There is a 10% federal tanning tax required by the U.S. government, in addition to Minnesota state sales tax
How can I make sure my lotion lasts longer?
Avoid storing lotions in your car. Extreme heat or cold can cause ingredients to separate and reduce effectiveness
*Ask about storing your lotion at the salon!
Can I bring my toddler in the tanning room with me?
No. Only one person per room is allowed, regardless of age
If I tan on Sunday, am I only using half my points?
No, full point values will be deducted, half price Sunday is a special on single session purchases
Can I return my lotion?
No, Any product that is used or taken out of the salons are not eligible for any refunds. We will consider store credit on a case by case basis
Can I get a refund on unused services?
No, all tanning, spray tans, & RLT services are non refundable for any reason. You may transfer any unused services if you wish.
